Unique East Oxford event, the Elder Stubbs Festival, is celebrating its 20th year on the 20th August. The festival boasts live music, performing arts, community stalls, and children’s activities in amongst the allotments and apple trees.
Organised jointly by RESTORE and Elder Stubbs Charity, this celebrated Cowley event attracts around 3000 people each year. This year promises to be the best yet. It includes, for the first time, a DJ tent, jazz piano in the tea area, a bouncy castle and pony rides.
Old school rockers the Mighty Redox will be playing, as well as reggae band Makating. Upbeat alternative dance act Fuzzy Logic are coming from London to do a homecoming show back in Oxford. Plus local bands The Heist and Osprey & the OX4 All Stars.
Come and join us and party like it’s 1991!
