We are based at the Littlemore Mental Health Centre, and offer opportunities to socialise, develop confidence and gain new skills in catering and customer service in our shop and café. Members work together to run the enterprises and decide what activities they will do.

Our shop sells everyday essentials, freshly prepared take-away food and snacks, and handmade gifts. In the café we make and sell home-made food and drinks, including barista-style coffees. You do not need previous catering experience to become a member of the recovery group.

We are open Monday – Friday and our members usually work from 9am until around 3.00pm. Lunch is provided. Members usually attend for one day a week.

Members arrive at 9:30am, starting with a short meeting where you decide on your preferred area to work in for the day. Options include shop work, kitchen work or gardening, with a morning tea break provided.

The morning session then ends at 12pm and afternoon members arrive for 12:30pm. Another short meeting will then start with new members deciding on preferred areas for the afternoon. An afternoon tea break is provided, with the session ending at 3pm.

At the end of both morning and afternoon sessions, members participate in a short meeting to check in on everyone’s day.
