Restore was delighted to be selected by James Cowper’s Oxford office as their chosen charity this year. The accounting firm shortlisted five local charities that were then presented to the office for a team vote. Tracy Case from James Cowper said, ‘Restore fitted all the criteria we had hoped for; a small local charity that supports people from all walks of life, helping them get back on track whether being in the form of coaching, support, activities or training. We also wanted to support a charity which we can make a real impact.’

So far James Cowper have helped support Restore through various fundraising events including an ‘Easter Eggstravaganza’, Quiz Night, tuck shop and more recently an Olympics Sweepstake.

We are pleased that the company also want to get involved through volunteering days. Four members of the team volunteered at Fleet Meadow in Didcot on 29th August. The team braved inclement weather to pick runner beans, apples, cucumbers and peppers, trim the willow around the benches and weed the disabled flower bed in preparation for the Fleet Meadow Autumn Fair on Saturday 8th September. They then retreated into the dry to help make cards to sell!

Tracy says, ‘James Cowper’s aim as a leading firm of accountants and business advisers is to draw on our experience and expertise to help our clients achieve real success; we hope to be able to use these qualities to help Restore achieve its objectives.’

We are very grateful for James Cowper’s support and look forward to working together during the rest of the year.
