We are very excited that our very own Garden Café will be featured in the Great British Bake-Off on Wednesday 11th January. A week-long series of the programme will show projects that have received Sports Relief funding, like our café which supports people with mental health problems. Meanwhile celebrities will battle it out for the baking title.

Café member Jeremy shows Mel how to make his melt-in-the-mouth lavender shortbread. Michael makes his flapjacks, which some believe rival those of Harrods. And Mel is thrown in the deep-end, serving with Kevin during the lunchtime rush, but manages to hold her own making frothy coffees…
