Prison rocks to raise money for Restore

An inmate at Grendon Prison in Buckinghamshire organised a rock concert on 3rd January to raise money for Restore. The event held at HMP Grendon, the only therapeutic prison in the UK, raised £529 through ticket and CD sales.

Prison Governor, Jamie Bennett, said that Restore was a fantastic charity and Grendon was pleased to be able to support it.

The band entertained with an eclectic mix of covers and their own material, including a track called ‘Restore me’.

Prison chaplain, Yvonne Dixon, a long-term supporter of Restore, presented External Relations Manager Gemma Humphrey with a giant cheque for £529.

Thank you to everyone at Grendon for their generosity and support.
