Mental Health Awareness Week 2015 11th-17th May

with No Comments

It’s just as important to take care of your mind as your body. That’s why, this Mental Health Awareness Week (11th – 17th May), Restore have partnered with Good Food Oxford to show how our relationship with food can impact how we feel.
We-dont-do-fast-food-150x150Local restaurants Wa! Cuisine, Oxfork, Oli’s Thai, Door 74, Organic Deli Café, and Magic Café are very kindly supporting our campaign, displaying collecting buckets and distributing literature about food and its connection to mental health.

The week will culminate with the re-opening of our Garden Café on Saturdays – the first time since weekend closures began last winter. The opening will be on 16th May, with live jazz music to celebrate. A revamped menu will gradually be introduced over the coming months, to include a salad bar and selection of paninis.
Artweeks-150x150In addition to our Good Food Campaign, we have art on display throughout Mental Health Awareness Week. Come to our Manzil Way site to see stunning artworks and poetry created by our talented members.
