Based in Oxford (Manzil Way), Salary £9,960 per annum, 21 hours a week

Are you passionate about delivering training in mental health and how it can positively impact recovery? Do you have the skills to engage learners in how to recognise symptoms of mental health problems, how to provide initial help and how to guide a person towards appropriate professional help? Do you enjoy the challenge of a rewarding and stimulating role? We are looking for a highly organised, skilled communicator who is able to empower the learners.

The overall purpose of this exciting opportunity is to deliver MHFA courses to BAME communities to help reduce the stigma and improve knowledge and understanding around mental ill health.

An MHFA instructor is required to be qualified and accredited by MHFA England. We will fund your training, and pay you whilst you train.

At this stage of application, we require a Cover letter with a CV (curriculum vitae).

The covering letter should address how you meet the criteria outlined in the person specification. Please see the ‘essentials’ and ‘desirable’ criteria under the shortlisting criteria. We suggest you address each point individually clearly stating how you meet the criteria. It is a good idea to use separate headings for each point.

Please remove your name, date of birth and any contact information from your CV and supply this on a separate piece of paper and send to us, along with a cover letter telling us why you would be good for this role.

For assistance and guidelines, to best be shortlisted for the role, please click here to download the Job Specification and details how to apply.

Please note that we are unable to shortlist any applications that do not demonstrate how they meet the criteria outlined in the person specification responsibilities below.

Please send applications to jobs@restore.org.uk

The closing date for applications is Sunday, 16th August 2020 (midnight).

Interviews for this post will be held on Wednesday 26th and Thursday, 27th August (morning).
