Returning to work after a period of mental ill health can be an overwhelming experience with numerous barriers to overcome.

Currently we’ve placed a hold on recruiting for this position as we have the number of volunteers needed. We have lots of other volunteering opportunities.

You will provide one-to-one employment support to your client to help them identify their goals and aspirations and plan how these goals can be achieved.

Time commitment: We ask for 1 – 2 hours a week plus monthly supervisions, between 9am – 4pm, Monday – Friday at Manzil Way (Oxford), Banbury or Didcot.

Training: Coaching Volunteers must complete Introduction to Volunteer training, Mental Health First Aid training, and two days of Coaching training. See upcoming training dates here.

We need volunteers who can support service users to solve everyday problems and build life skills in areas such as handling bills and health related issues like contacting a GP.

Time commitment: Between 3 -5pm, at least once a week (Monday to Friday), at one of our recovery groups in Oxford, Banbury or Didcot.

Training: Coaching Volunteers must complete Introduction to Volunteer training, Mental Health First Aid training, and half a day of Communication Skills training. See upcoming training dates here.
