Blenheim 7K Fun Run – Run for Restore! EVENT CANCELLED @ Blenheim Palace

Run for fun at Blenheim Palace grounds and support Restore! Why not give something back, and take on the challenge for #GiveADay?

There’s something for everyone on the day: 7k run, children’s 1 mile event, wheelchair & buggy events, so the perfect opportunity to make a day of it. You could even bring a picnic!

The 7k course is suitable for all ages and abilities. It offers a challenging run for the more experienced, and beautiful surroundings for the beginner or anyone who wants to take a more leisurely pace. The wheelchair and buggy event will differ slightly and take place over a 4-mile course following the trails around the grounds of Blenheim Palace.

All competitors will receive a medal, as well as prizes for the winners, and trophies for the fastest teams. The event is free for spectators, so why not make it part of a special day out, with family or friends?

Each rider will have a £200 sponsorship target – we’d really love you to help us beat last year’s £3,000 total! The money you raise will make a genuine difference in the lives of local people in recovery from mental ill-health.

Bike Oxford is an amazing day, taking in the best scenery of Oxford and the surrounding countryside. Choose to ride 25, 50 or 80k and to start/finish from either Oxford University Rugby Club or Chipping Norton Rugby Club. When you sign up with Restore, you will receive:

  • A free medal at the end of your ride;
  • Timing and routes via the new Iconic App;
  • Hot food and a bar on your return to either rugby club;
  • Fully waymarked routes with a back up route map and GPS files;
  • Feed stations on the long and medium routes showcasing the best produce from local food and drink suppliers;
  • On-course first aid support.

Join Team Restore in the Oxford Half Marathon @ Oxford City

Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or a newbie jogger, all are welcome in Team Restore!

Each runner will have a £250 sponsorship target and every penny you raise will make a genuine difference in the lives of local people in recovery from mental ill-health. As part of Team Restore, you’ll also get individual support and encouragement from our super friendly Fundraisers!

This year is a special one, as it’s the 10th edition of the Oxford Half Marathon. The course takes runners through the pristine, winding streets of historic Oxford. The route begins in the city centre and passes through Old Marston village, the River Cherwell, Oxford University’s impressive Lady Margaret Hall, before finally finishing on Parks Road.

Live entertainment and DJs keep you running (or dancing!?) to the finish line, where you’ll receive a finisher shirt, medal, race photos, tote bag and other freebies. You’ll be able to bask in the glory of completing the Oxford Half as well as glowing with the knowledge that you’re doing something to improve the everyday lives of people affected by mental ill-health.
