Winter Clothing Community Drive
Donate your spare warm, winter clothing to help our members.
This winter Restore has an unusual request. We are happily now able to welcome our service users back onsite, but our COVID-19 safety regulations mean that our buildings have to remain extremely ventilated, with doors and windows open at all times. As winter approaches and temperatures fall, we want to keep our 292 members safe, warm and dry. So we’re launching a community drive to gather clean and good quality winter clothing from local businesses, organisations and communities to help us keep our services open to the people who need them.
Throughout October we’ll be accepting donations of winter clothing of all sorts, from hats and gloves to wellies, fleeces, anoraks and coats. We respect our members, and ask that any donations are clean and in excellent condition. Our drive will culminate on 31st October, so that we can distribute the items to our service users across the county before the coldest weather hits. So if you have anything to give, please let us know before then!
If you would like to donate items or discuss this further, please contact a member of our fundraising team at fundraising@restore.org.uk.
Thank you for helping us keep our services running this winter.
Come see the community garden at Fleet Meadow sparkling with works made by artists from Restore. The translucent sculptures are lit from within and provide a wonderland for members of the public to wander in. Chat with members and staff from Restore over a cup of tea and light refreshments. Shop for Restore-made Christmas gifts. This is a free event open to members of the public and friends of Restore.
Please support your Local Heroes who have stepped up to the challenge of learning to dance all to raise money for Restore. Contestants have been working tirelessly for 6 weeks and are ready to perform live on Saturday 25th February at Brackley Town Football club, with not one but two performances.
The Local Heroes are stepping outside their comfort zone and donning sequins and sparkles ready for their performances and need your support. Please click here to donate to their worthy efforts and share this link to help them in their quest.
Also… they need you to come along and cheer for them on the big night and get those all important text votes in for their chance to lift the Strictly Brackley Trophy for 2023. Tickets are now on sale! We have two spectacular shows for you to enjoy, it’s an event you won’t want to miss!
