New Year’s resolutions to make a difference

Many of us will make a New Year’s resolution, but how might yours make the greatest impact? It could be to focus on improving the lives of people in our community? In fact, research suggests that helping others not only benefits the receiver but improves your own health, happiness and wellbeing too.

Here are four fun ways to get involved and make mental health a greater priority this year:

  1. Register for the Oxford Half Marathon and together we can take steps for better mental health in Oxfordshire.

  2. Sign up for Strictly Brackley 2023 and receive professional dance training! Be a local hero and raise funds through your efforts.

  3. Pledge your next birthday and swap out presents for the gift of future hope for others.

  4. Sell unwanted Christmas presents on eBay, Amazon or Gumtree and generously donate the proceeds to Restore.
