Opportunities Project volunteers visit inpatients on acute psychiatric wards in hospital, and offer guidance and information about support and services available to them when they are discharged. Volunteers might help patients find support to help with their return to work, source coaching to help them to find a new job or find recovery groups to help them build confidence. Volunteers signpost patients to local organisations or help patients to carry out their own research. Volunteers can also talk to patients about Restore and the services we offer as part of the Oxfordshire Mental Health Partnership.
