Opportunities Project volunteers visit inpatients on acute psychiatric wards in hospital, and offer guidance and information about support and services available to them when they are discharged. Volunteers might help patients find support to help with their return to work, source coaching to help them to find a new job or find recovery groups to help them build confidence.  Volunteers signpost patients to local organisations or help patients to carry out their own research. Volunteers can also talk to patients about Restore and the services we offer as part of the Oxfordshire Mental Health Partnership.

We are currently looking for people who are available to volunteer in Oxford on Tuesday afternoons and/or Thursday afternoons. If this might interest you please do take a look at the full Opportunities Volunteer Role Description.

If you would like to apply for this role please fill in our online application form. Once we’ve received your application form we’ll get in touch to arrange an informal interview.

Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering at Restore. If you have any queries or questions please take a look at our Volunteer FAQs or contact us at volunteer@restore.org.uk .
